Courtesy and Fairness

COURTESY
Keep noise volume (talking and singing, electronic media and musical instruments) at a reasonable level so as not to disturb other residents.  Sound carries easily from deck to deck to window – especially at night.

FAIRNESS
We’re all here to enjoy this wonderful environment. Let’s tolerate a little early evening noise from parties or friends gathering – and not call the resident or Public Safety to soon.

COURTESY
Please do not leave your dogs unattended if they will miss you and bark.

FAIRNESS
Dogs do bark when lonely or excited.  Let the owner know so barking will not occur in the future.

COURTESY
Keep the porte-cochere unblocked for all to use – no parking, please.  Inform delivery people that this most certainly applies to them.

FAIRNESS
Each of us expects to park there for brief periods when unloading.

COURTESY
A garage or carport is assigned to each villa – it should be used for parking your car.  Then, visitors may use the visitor spaces.  Guests or lessees have garage access through the owner’s remote device or keypad.

FAIRNESS
Visitor spaces are often open during weekdays or the off-season periods – no problem with occasional, outdoor parking.

COURTESY
Guests and lessees should park their bikes (and store their beach equipment) in their garages, not in an entranceway, lobby or stairwell.

FAIRNESS
Temporary parking outside is okay.

COURTESY
Trash chutes are for well-wrapped trash (no breakables) – sink disposals are for garbage.  Recycling bins next to the Amelia Island Management building on Julia St. are for newspapers, glass bottles and jars, and aluminum cans.

FAIRNESS
Weekend residents have to be very environmentally conscious to go to Julia St.

COURTESY
Have fun at the pool but not after sundown – no beer cans or debris please- please use earphones with your radio – and, for sure, no glass containers ever.  No running, kids.

FAIRNESS
Children and grandchildren do splash and yell – that’s fun!

COURTESY
Use of the pool is limited to residents of Piper Dunes and their invitees.  No others are welcome since the pool is private and supported by the owners.

FAIRNESS
We’ll be pleasant when we ask people to leave.

Thanks to all owners, guests, lessees and invitees for your Courtesy and Fairness.
